PRA Realty (I) Pvt. Ltd,Founded in year 2005. PRA Realty is Pune’s one of the premier real estate developer with offices in Pune, Mumbai & Chicago with Approximately 250 & above employee base.
Scope was using a legacy messaging solution hosted by a 3rd party service provider. They had multiple domains that were hosted with different panel user management which was a big task. All emails were residing in their email clients (POP) and which was causing security issues and backup concerns with frequent downtimes, spam and server maintenance issues and dependency on email client like Outlook.
With the recommendation and support of Shivaami Cloud Services Pvt.Ltd, PRA Realty Pvt. Ltd. made the switch to Google Workspace in July 2015.

With Gmail, spam is now kept to a minimum with the appropriate spam filters. Employees now enjoy 30GB of email storage space. Earlier employees had to save important emails on their local desktops or laptops now employees can easily access their corporate Gmail account from any Internet-enabled device.
Users who need access in outlook configured GASMO, now all task for example calendar event & contacts are getting synced with all devices.
Enabling device management policy allowed the internal IT team to control Gmail setup accounts.
PRA Realty (I) Pvt. Ltd started using Google Calendar to improve the visibility over their employee’s schedules. This has helped to decrease the administrative hassle involved in scheduling meetings. The business has also extended the use of Calendar for internal administrative purposes where they keep track of important dates such as employee’s birthdays which results to a better team bonding.
Google Drive has made the sharing and storage of such large-sized files easier. This has resulted in improved collaboration among employees who no longer need to rely on inefficient file transfer through emails. Employees collaboration has improved as team members are now more inclined to utilise tools like Google Hangouts instead of calling each other on the phone to check on their working task. Large files can be shared easily with Google Drive, this was something that the previous mail server was not capable of.
PRA Realty (I) Pvt. Ltd IT Team configured automated compliance using advanced setting like BCC forwarding for monitoring and backup purpose and setting like SMTP Relay, Outbound gateway, URL customization and Spam filters etc.
Internal communication has also improved with the team using Gmail, drive, google+ and hangouts to discuss and share important information and initiatives across the company wherever and whenever required.
The challenges and frustration caused by their old system were replaced by the ease-of-use and reliability of Google’s cloud-based communication and collaboration solutions.
